One of the certainties in life is change. Overtime we need to adapt and adjust and that is true for business as well. This year has been a year full of changes for me, both personally and professionally. As I addressed in my previous blog post, most of the work here at Brady Bands is done by yours truly. As much as I love this business and what it stands for it isn’t my only responsibility in life. I have ran this business full time for almost 5 years now. It has taught me so much and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. One of the biggest things I have learned from running my own business over these last few years is that I love creating things. I have always been someone who loves to make things with my own hands. I thrive on coming up with new ideas and seeing those ideas come to life. I also love challenging myself and learning new things. That drive to be creative and try new things has lead me to a new business opportunity. New businesses are a lot like babies. They require a lot of time and attention. In order for me to have time to pursue this new opportunity I need to make some changes to how things run here at Brady Bands. The temporary solution is to only open the site for shopping on certain days. Doing so allows me to schedule dedicated time to each business. It also ensures that you get a better shopping experience. In the time that the shop is open I can focus on getting orders processed quickly and responding to any questions or issues you guys might have much faster. So for the rest of this year I will only be opening the site for orders one weekend a month. The scheduled dates are as follows:
If you would like to receive a reminder when the shop is open as well as first dibs on the inventory with early access and an exclusive savings/freebie please sign up for the newsletter. An email will be sent to all subscribers the day before the site opens to everyone else with a reminder and a special offer. And if you need anything custom between shop openings you can email email@example.com to schedule.
I appreciate each and every one of you for all the support and love over the years. It really means the world to me. I’m not sure how long I will keep the shopping this way. My plan is to get through my commitments for this year and then reassess. Hopefully this way will work out well for everyone.
