The Brady Bands brand was launched in January 2013 as an affordable way to keep your hair in place during even the toughest workouts. After searching all over it became clear that all the options available on the market at that time were either ineffective or expensive. Most headbands would slip off or give the wearer a headache making them more of a nuisance than a help. Other options were effective at staying put during workouts but were very expensive. So Brady Bands began as a one woman’s quest for the perfect headband at a great price and a way to give back to a cause dear to her heart.
Brady Bands was named after the founder’s son Brayden, a courageous little boy who passed away in June 2012 after a year long battle with brain cancer. Brayden’s diagnosis and death highlighted the need for more funding and research to be done to find a cure for childhood cancer. Brayden’s story has touched many and has ignited a fire in those who knew him to do more to fight against childhood cancer. That’s why at least 10% of every sale will be donated to CureSearch to support research to find a cure.
